Getting Ready for FALL & WINTER Specials

STEP ONE
Getting Your Pond Ready for Winter means:
Vaccuming and removeing leaves and debris from your ponds floor and sides, skimmers, water fall and filters.
Definition of cleaning your pond: Vaccuming all the muck and debris from from the bottom of your pond. Do Not Power Wash the Linner. If you have rocks in your pond, that mean takeing out the Rocks, vaccuming the linner. The alage on the linner is part of your Eco System of your pond. Leaveing the alage on the linner insures a Faster Start up for your Nitrogen Cycle in the Spring.

Note: Protect your Bacteria and they will take care of your pond.!!!!!!!!!!

STEP TWO
Plus Winter Care for your Pond's Water.
Microbe-Lift Autumn/Winter Prep. CMC Clay and Sludge Away. All Winter Long.Japanese Bacterial ball for nitrifying bacteria in water down to 40 degrees.
This will Keep the Balance of cleaning bacteria's in your pond all winter long. Plus the Clay will help in a phase of purifying it's part of the ponds water and help balance the pH. You will love this part in the Spring. Sludge Away is put in all year around because it actually eats the muck and debre in the pond. Even around and under the Rocks. This will also help in Spring start up too.

CMC CLAY is used all year around for helping to balance the pH,It's own part of purifying the water that nitrifying bacteria's do not do. Helps in the immune system of the koi, improves digestion, color, and much more. I use handfuls of clay because I really love the way it works. I have a client that had alot of green water and she kept useing more clay several times a week. She found she was cleaning the filters more but then she noticed the pea soup started clearing up and the water was becomeing more clear. You still need a UV Light that's for sure but in her case it was helping in the pea soup water. CMC has a negative electric charge which will bind the clay particles to positively charged toxins in the water. CMC is a nutrient source for your koi and will also "polish" your pond water. The clay acts as a natural flocculent and the particles that are bound up are filtered out of the pond. The clay can help make pond water sparkling clean [polishing].

STEP THREE
DON'T FORGET TO ADD A HAKKO AIR PUMP TO YOUR POND.
OXYGEN IS SO IMPORTANT TO YOUR POND AND KOI.This will also help to keep an opening in the ice so that the gas and oxygen exchange.

IT'S THE MOST MISUNSTOOD ELIMATE IN POND KEEPING. OXYGEN...OXYGEN......OXYGEN....OXYGEN.....

A GOOD DIFUSER WILL ALSO KEEP A 4' HOLE OPEN IN THE ICE IN WINTER TIME. IT'S SIMPLY GREAT.
